Helping Our Community One Pantry at a Time
Each month, the Bolingbrook Lions Club proudly supports local Bolingbrook micro pantries by purchasing and donating $100 worth of non-perishable food. These essential items are delivered to a different micro pantry each month, helping ensure that residents in need have access to food staples when times get tough.
Once we’ve visited all the local micro pantries in Bolingbrook, we start the rotation over again, ensuring continued support throughout the year.
What Are Micro Pantries?
Micro pantries are small, community-supported food stations placed throughout Bolingbrook. Most are accessible 24/7 and available to anyone. Whether it’s a box of pasta, a can of soup, or a jar of peanut butter, these pantries offer essentials to those who may need just a little help.
They operate on a simple motto:
Take what you need. Leave what you can.
These pantries make a real difference in people’s lives by offering dignity, privacy, and access to food when it’s most needed.
